Purchaser Position Summary- Responsible for all procurement and purchasing of plant, tree, and palm inventory, as well as providing support for our nursery, inventory, and sales teams.

- Southeast US plant identification required - Minimum of two years' experience in a related position or field required - Familiar with Florida grades / standards for determining quality of trees and shrubs - Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills - Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a time sensitive manner with strong attention to detail - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Team player mindset required - Highschool diploma or equivalent required - Associate or bachelor's degree required or equivalent work experience in the green industry Key Job
Responsibilities:
- Prepare purchase orders for plant and tree material for the nursery, and special orders from customers - Review prices and material specifications from vendors and suppliers to ensure the best quality and price points - Create and maintain purchasing files and pricing lists - Assist in maintaining accurate inventory counts - Position requires work duties be performed both in office and outdoors in plant nursery - Provide support to our sales, inventory, and nursery teams as needed Additional Job-Related Duties:
- Comply with federal and state law, regulations, and all Company policies - Participate in online and in-person training, and other educational opportunities to develop knowledge, skills, and abilities - Assist with other job-related tasks requested by management team - This position may include hours spent outdoors in a plant nursery environment walking, standing, bending, kneeling, and some light lifting Job Type:
