As an employee in our office, you will be responsible for providing clinical support to providers and patients.
It is important to complete all duties accurately, with high quality, and in a timely manner.
Responsibilities include:
Scheduling appointments Checking patients in and out Entering insurance information and verifying eligibility Rooming patients and documenting the chief complaint Documenting provider's findings in the electronic medical record system Setting up and assisting during biopsies, excisions, Mohs surgery, and other skin procedures Calling patients and communicating information (such as biopsy results and lab results) from the healthcare provider Preparing and cleaning exam rooms and surgical instruments Skills Previous experience as a medical assistant or receptionist in a medical office (preferred but not required) Ability to work well as part of a team Highly motivated Excellent time management skills Service-oriented Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong desire to help others Job Type:
