Service Coordinator and Bookkeeper Job Overview:
The Service/Office Clerk plays a key role in assisting both the Service Coordinator and Bookkeeper positions.
The Service/Office position is a supporting role that requires excellent customer service skills accompanied by a high level of process-oriented detail.
The Service/Office Clerk is a glue person to help the process work smoothly between the customer, sales team, warehouse and delivery team, repair service techs, and product vendors when issues arise with our merchandise.
Responsibilities and Duties:
The Service/Office Clerk position is responsible for:
Assisting with service related tasks in regards to damages, customer repairs and credits requested to vendors.
Assisting with bookkeeping entries and reconcilliaton tasks in QuickBooks.
Submitting furniture and matress orders according to company policy.
Filing, data entry and inspection of inventory.
Emailing managers and sales representatives, both within the company and to vendors.
Communicating with the customers regarding their service repairs.
Meeting deadlines as required on multiple tasks.
Having reliable transportation to arrive on time each day.
Communication Skills:
The Service Clerk will be in regular communication with customers, sales staff, management, bookkeeper, warehouse and delivery staff, repair techs, and vendors.
Excellent business communication skills, customer service skills, and ability to retain and communicate detailed product information are all essential to this role.
Qualifications / Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Responsible and self-disciplined.
Strong detail-oriented skills.
Customer service communication skills, including ability to maintain consistent communication with customers as well as defuse situations at times.
Able to see multi-step processes through to conclusion Able to work with multiple detailed numbers such as product numbers, customer numbers, order numbers and parts numbers.
Able to work with technical programs, QucikBooks, Excel documents and navigate through vendor websites.
Perform tasks effienctly and thouroughly to completion.
Physical Requirements:
Light physical duties including:
Moving and lifting to inspect furniture and mattresses for damages, product labels, and serial numbers, sometimes in close spaces in a warehouse setting.
Assistance available, if needed.
Checking / arranging / labeling packages when parts are received for service orders Some walking necessary between furniture stores and warehouses Some standing and kneeling while inspecting merchandise Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$12.
00 - $15.
00 per hour Schedule:
Monday to Friday Work Location:
In person.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
